About me

Hola! I’m Adriana Sanchez Monroy, a Chicago-based actor originally from Mexico. Working across film and theater, I’m drawn to characters who are messy, complicated, funny, vulnerable, contradictory, and, above all, human.

As a bilingual English and Spanish actor, my background has shaped the way I experience stories and approach my work. I’m interested in performances that connect with people, moments that make an audience recognize something of themselves in the roles I play.

When I’m not performing, you’ll find me training, exploring, and challenging myself as an artist. I’m also a musician and songwriter, and I’m always finding new ways to create, tell stories, and express myself.
